Mirit Weinstock (M♥W Designer)
Born in Haifa, Israel in 1977. Graduating in 2002 from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, I was invited to participate in ITS#ONE (International Talent Support) in Trieste, Italy. A few months later, I was offered internships at Alexander McQueen fashion house in London; trend magazine “View On Colour” and “Maison Lanvin”, where I had the privilege to work with artistic director Alber Elbaz. I launched my own women’s ready-to-wear label in 2004, and in 2011 launched M♥W, an international jewelry brand. That same year, I entered the two-year MFA program at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. M♥W is a luxury crafts jewelry collection sold in such specialty stores as Paris’ Colette, Japan’s ZOZO and Anthropologie in the U.S.

Takafumi Inuzuka (uni-t design)
Born in 1977. After graduating with a B.A. in Physics from Tokyo Metropolitan University, I plunged wholeheartedly into design. For two years I studied professional jewelry making techniques at Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry. After preparing for a year, I entered the BA Jewellery Design course at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design. In the rich international environment, I learned a great many things outside of the jewelry category, including a theory of design unfettered by traditional practice.
After graduation, I developed my professional jewelry design and manufacturing skills by working with young, spirited designers and leading figures like Vivienne Westwood and Hussein Chalayan. I was also privileged to improve both my knowledge and skills as the high jewelry production assistant to Shaun Leane. After returning to Japan, I launched a jewelry and accessory brand, “uni-t Design”, with the theme “unique creation through an art & design approach”. I consider the distinctive features of my design to be concepts and aesthetics originating in my scientific sensibilities.
