The Nagoya, UNESCO City of Design logo, combining UNESCO’s logo and the maruhachi emblem of Nagoya, uses blue, symbolizing earth’s natural abundance, and represents the willingness of government, industry and academia to collaboratively emphasize Nagoya’s charm of Nagoya through the activities of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
